Amid Coronavirus pandemic, Switzerland expressed solidarity with India in the fight against COVID-19 by projecting the Indian flag on the popular Matterhorn mountain in Switzerland. The Matterhorn mountain displayed the Indian tricolor which was of more than 1000 meter in size, and it was a marvelous sight to behold. Bollywood stars Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif, and Anushka Sharma were amazed and awestruck by the amazing view of the Indian tricolor displayed on the Matterhorn, and they took to their social media to share the same with their fans.
Ranveer Singh, the brand ambassador of Switzerland to India took to his Instagram to post the glorious picture, and in his caption, he wrote, “Switzerland’s most famous mountain -the @zermatt.matterhorn lit up in the glorious Indian Tricolour. A message of solidarity and hope... A tribute to the indomitable human spirit Light Art by @gerryhofstetter and @gabrielperren #inlovewithswitzerland @myswitzerlandin.” Anushka Sharma took to her Instagram story, sharing the lit picture and wrote, “This is so beautiful!” Katrina Kaif also posted the picture on her Instagram story.

The Swiss light artist Gerry Hofsetter has been lighting up the 4,478-metre peak, with flags of different countries, as a part of a series, to offer hope and strength to countries combating COVID-19.
