Her husband and actor Ranveer Singh couldn't contain his excitement and took to Instagram to shower praises on his 'sherni'. Sharing Deepika's poster on his Instagram stories, Ranveer affectionately referred to her as "Sherni", showcasing his admiration for her new avatar.
Adding to the anticipation surrounding the action-packed thriller 'Singham Again', director Rohit Shetty delighted fans with a sneak peek of Deepika in her powerful role. On April 19, Rohit shared a captivating motion poster featuring Deepika as the fierce Shakti Shetty, striking Ajay Devgn's iconic Singham pose. The video captured Deepika's commanding presence, embodying the essence of a strong and fearless character.
Last year, on the auspicious occasion of Navratri, Rohit had unveiled Deepika's first look as the lady cop Shakti Shetty. The poster showcased Deepika in a police uniform for the first time, exuding confidence and intensity as she sat in front of a burning vehicle, holding a gun with authority.
In another glimpse shared by Rohit, Deepika was seen holding a gun with a bandage on her hand, radiating a sense of determination and resolve.
