Ranveer Singh’s Song Apna Time Aayega From Gully Boy Becomes The Number One Track Of 2019

Ranveer Singh is a talented actor and constantly charms his fans with his stellar performances. Throughout his film career, Ranveer has wowed us all with his incredible performance as an actor and a rapper in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy. As Ranveer debuted as a rapper/hip-hop artist in the huge Zoya Akhtar hit, the actor had sung four songs out of which Apna Time Aayega, Asli hip Hop and Mere Gully Mein stormed the music charts and became the top 3 charts of the nation then. With the song Apna Time Aayega being the most favourite when it was released, the track has been listed as Number 1 track of 2019.
It’s the end of the year and music streaming platform iTunes has just released a list of the Top 100 songs of 2019 in India and it’s no surprise that Apna Time Aayega has been listed as the Number 1 track of the year! Apna Time Aayega became a nationwide sensation when it dropped and even political parties used the Ranveer Singh track for Lok Sabha Elections. The song captures the voice of the streets of India and skyrocketed to the NO 1 position back then and stayed on that spot for 2 months straight, a rare feat by any original single these days. Talking about his huge success as a hip-hop artist, Ranveer had told earlier, “Hip-hop went deep inside me ever since I was a kid and my love for the music only grew bigger with time. Rap, somehow, used to always naturally excite me. I was thrilled to be in Zoya’s film because I had always wanted to do such a film because I have a natural, in-born affinity towards hip-hop. I loved this genre of music since I was a kid and I would have been heartbroken if I didn’t do Gully Boy. It’s also incredible that Zoya decided that I should sing in the album. It’s a very personal, very emotional and a very special moment for me in my journey in cinema.”
Ranveer is definitely on a dream run of his career and he can do nothing wrong. In an absolutely new genre of music for Hindi film audiences, Ranveer has now delivered the biggest chartbuster of the country with the track Apna Time Aayega! He will be next seen in Kabir Khan’s 83 in which he plays the role of Kapil Dev.
