Recently, the Gully Boy actor happened to meet Premier League legend Alan Shearer, who paid a visit to India for the promotions of this English top-tier league in the country. Alan, during his stay in India, visited metro cities like Mumbai and Bangalore, where he also met his fans. Ranveer Singh, who happens to be the official brand ambassador of Premier League India, met the former Newcastle United striker at Mumbai’s BKC.
Taking to his Instagram, the Bajirao Mastani actor gave fans a sneak-peek into his delightful encounter aka fan-boy moment with the football giant. The picture sees Ranveer and Alan all smiles, as they were engrossed into a conversation on the field. We would like to love to know the joke there. In his caption, Ranveer Singh described this moment as a ‘footballing royalty’ and expressed his elation on meeting Alan. “Footballing royalty! Good times with @alanshearer @plforindia,” wrote the actor.
Premier League's record scorer was quick to reciprocate the warmth, as he commented, "Great meeting you and a brilliant afternoon." Ranveer Singh replied, "Delight to have you roll through our hood, Sir! Honoured!”
