Ranveer Singh starts work on Bhansali's Padmavati

There may have been no official announcement about Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next Padmavati yet, but seems that Ranveer Singh doesn’t believe in wasting anytime.
SpotboyE.com has it that Bhansali's Bajirao wants to learn about his character of Allauhudin Khilji in Padmavati ASAP.
Earlier too Ranveer had done a thorough research for Bajirao Mastani that was so noticeable in his spectacular performance in the film.
A source close to the actor told SpotboyE, “Ranveer believes in researching and learning about his character very well before he begins work. This time, he has asked those in his close knit circle who are well versed with history to help him scout for work of researchers and historians on Allahudin Khilji--- be it in form of manuals, scriptures or any research material. Whenever he is not shooting, he is busy utilising that time in getting to the skin of the character.” 
Ranveer is currently in Hungary for an ad film.
Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone is most likely to play the title role in the film- and we were the first to tell you that (BUZZ: Deepika to star in Bhansali's next, April 5).
Vicky Kaushal had been almost finalised to play Deepika's husband in the film, but has now been dropped. Buzz is, Shahid Kapoor may do that role (Shahid to be Deepika's husband?, July 19).
