Ranveer Singh To Play A Paraplegic Swimmer In A Biopic, Says, ‘You Will Hear An Official Announcement Soon’
Ranveer Singh confirms being offered paraplegic swimmer after ‘ 83
After portraying the iconic Indian cricketer Kapil Dev on screen in the movie ‘ 83, Ranveer Singh has been flooded with offers for biopics. In an interview with ETimes, the enigmatic actor was asked several questions, during which he confirmed being in talks for 5 biopics. The revelation was made by the actor when he was asked if he ever plans to give a nod to a biopic which sportsperson would he like to play, the actor smiled, he though did not divulge any deets, he confirmed being in talks for 5 biopics.
He said, “I am in discussion for 5 biopics. Three of those biopics are of sportspersons.” When asked if the actor to confirm if he is also offered a biopic on a paraplegic swimmer. He confirmed the news, he said, “I guess we should rather wait and give this time, those 5 biopics are all in different stages of development and hopefully one of them will develop into an extraordinary script and you will hear an official announcement soon.”

The actor is overwhelmed with the positive response his recently released movie, ‘ 83, Ranveer was teary-eyed, he said, “The love that is coming my way, I am overwhelmed. It’s a miracle that I became an actor. Look at the fact, what chances did I have at succeeding?” ‘ 83 has crossed Rs. 50 crore mark at the box office.
