Along with family members, many friends, Bollywood celebrities and fans mourned the sad demise of the veteran actor. As Rishi Kapoor has shared a close bond with actress Raveena Tandon and her family, she recently shared a heartfelt throwback video of the Bobby actor wishing her dad- filmmaker Ravi Tandon on his birthday. The actress talks about missing her dearest Chintu Uncle every day.
Taking to Instagram, actress Raveena Tandon shared a heartfelt video that Rishi Kapoor recorded for her dad Ravi Tandon on his Birthday. Sharing the video, the actress wrote, “Dearest dearest Chintu uncle.. you are missed every day. Just before his going to New York for treatment, he recorded this for papa and then surprised him by being there with us on papas birthday. you will always be there at home and in our hearts forever Chintu uncle. we love you .” In the post, the actress mentioned how Rishi Kapoor recorded the video for her father Ravi Tandon before he was moving to New York for treatment and later surprised everyone by being with the family for her father’s birthday.
In the video, Rishi Kapoor wished filmmaker Ravi Tandon a very Happy Birthday and mentioned how he has known him for the past 42 years. The actor spoke about how he has known the director since 1973 and worked together for the first time in the film Khel Khel Mein with wife Neetu Kapoor as well. Rishi Kapoor talked about how he has enjoyed working with Ravi Tandon in four films of his career. Rishi Kapoor also shared that it is all because of the filmmaker that he met wife Neetu Kapoor and hence cherishes the moments working with him. The veteran actor finally thanked Ravi Tandon for everything he did for wife Neetu Kapoor and him and send him a lot of love.
Meanwhile, as Raveena Tandon misses her dearest Chintu uncle, like the actress, every fan in the country misses Rishi Kapoor dearly. The veteran actor died at a Mumbai hospital on April 30, 2020, after fighting a valiant battle against leukaemia for two-long-years.
