Rekha And Boney Kapoor Are In Hyderabad To Grace The ANR Awards; Latter To Accept The Trophy On Behalf Of Wife And Late Actress Sridevi
Boney Kapoor arrives in Hyderabad to receive the ANR honour on behalf of his wife and late actress Sridevi, also spotted was the stunning Rekha
The 2018-2019 edition of the prestigious ANR awards, which has been named after legendary actor and producer Akkineni Nageswara Rao, is slated to take place on November 17 i.e., today. To attend the same, Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor and the evergreen Rekha were spotted at the Hyderabad airport today. What makes it even special is that late actress and Boney’s wife Sridevi and Rekha are going to be felicitated by Megastar Chiranjeevi for their immense contribution towards the South film industry. Boney Kapoor will be accepting the honour on behalf of actress-wife Sridevi.
A couple of pictures and videos of Rekha and Boney Kapoor at the Hyderabad actor have emerged online. Boney opted for a casual tracksuit, whereas Rekha looked ravishing in an elegant white and gold saree. She completed her look with a bun, white sneakers and a funky pair of glares. The event will also be graced by South superstar Akkineni Nagarjuna, who will be felicitating other talented people for their bit towards the industry. For those unaware, Rekha has been a part of several South films; in fact, she had forayed into the film industry as a child artist with a Telugu film named Rangula Ratnam (1966). Further, Rekha made her full-fledged South debut with a Kannada film called Operation Jackpot Nalli C.I.D 999. As for Sridevi, she has been an equally prominent name down South. At the age of 4, Sridevi had made her debut with a Tamil film titled Kandan Karunai.
