R Balki's upcoming film Shamitabh has a casting coup in Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha coming together for the same film after 32 years.The celebrated onscreen jodi was last seen together in Yash Chopra’s Silsila.
While the two veterans don't have scenes together, Balki has yet managed to have them in a short conversation.
Rekha meets Amitabh in the film, albeit in voice.
Dhanush whose dialogues have been dubbed by Amitabh gets an award in the film from Rekha, who plays herself. A source says, "This is where they talk to each other."
The film, which also marks the debut of Kamal Haasans younger daughter Akshara is expected to hit the theatres on February 6.
