Remake Of Shah Rukh's Darr Hits Legal Roadblock
TV actor Karanvir Bohra had ambitious plans to remake the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Darr, but the film has run into trouble.

The film's writer Swapnil Deshpande has alleged that he hasn't been paid for the story, screenplay and dialogues, and is in the process of filing a case with the Film Writer's Association.

A source from the association told 9xe, "Bohra, who is acting and producing the film, was supposed to pay a certain sum and also give due credit to Deshpande, but he has gone ahead and started shooting the film without his consent."

The source also revealed that the rights of the script belong to Deshpande and the makers can't proceed with the same until an understanding is reached between the two warring parties. "Else, the tussle will go the Jyoti Kapoor-Kunal Kohli way wherein Kohli was unable to release his film Phir Se, which was based on Kapoor's script."

While Karanvir didn't respond, Deshpande said that he doesn't want to comment on the matter.
