Remo D'Souza's Wife Lizelle Heartbroken Over Jason Watkins' Death: 'My Brother Ended His Life While My Dad Had Gone For Dialysis'
Director-choreographer Remo D'Souza's brother-in-law Jason Watkins was found dead at his residence
Choreographer and director Remo D'Souza's brother-in-law, Jason Savio Watkins, was found dead at his residence on Thursday. His body has been sent to Cooper Hospital for a post mortem, said Mumbai Police. The entire family is heartbroken. Lizelle took to Instagram to share a picture of her brother and wrote, "Why??????? How could u do this to me. I will never forgive u." She also shared a childhood picture with him and wrote, "Why??" She shared another picture of her brother with their mother and wrote, "am sorry mum, I failed you."
Speaking to ETimes, "Daddy forced the door open somehow and found Jason had taken his life. Daddy has been undergoing dialysis since some time." When asked if Jason was disturbed, Lizelle said, "I think he couldn't come to terms with our mother's death, which happened in 2018. He was very close to her." Jason was not married. The incident took place when Remo and Lizelle were in Goa to attend a wedding.
"Daddy called me in Goa to tell me about Jason. I had gone to Goa to attend a wedding. Remo and I just don't know what to do. We are in a state of a terrible shock," she said.
Jason worked in Bollywood for a few years. He also worked as an assistant director on all the projects of Remo. Remo took to Instagram to share a photo with his brother-in-law and wrote, "You broke our hearts brother, hope you finally found Peace. REST IN PEACE #jasonwatkins."
