Renee Sen Reveals Mom Sushmita Sen Is Very Motivating; Says ‘Our Relationship Has Changed Now That We Are In The Same Field’

Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen’s daughter Renee Sen is following the footsteps of her star mom. The star kid recently made her acting debut with the short film titled Suttabaazi. Although the aspiring actress wishes to become a full-time actor, she has realized it will take her a long time to achieve where her mother is now. In an interview now, Renee Sen talks about her equation with her mother after she made her acting debut. Renee opened up about Sushmita Sen and her plans to work together.
Speaking with ETimes, when questioned if she chose acting or if it came naturally to her given mom Sushmita Sen’s illustrious career, Renee explained her mother’s journey is very different from hers. She said, “My mother’s journey is very different from mine. She can always share her experiences but in the end, it's my decision to take things forward. I can only be told about the pros and cons. I have been in my mom’s shoes but I haven’t stayed there for long. Facing the camera is not easy. There are so many things to be taken care of. I have realised that wanting to be an actor and to actually become one are totally different things. You can be having a really bad day but you just can't let that show in your work. I really got to learn a lot of things.”
When questioned about how it was growing up as Sushmita Sen’s daughter, Renee revealed she loved her childhood. She said, “I loved my childhood. I am so blessed. My mom is really relaxed. She values discipline but we--Alisah and I--have our own space. She gives us that. She doesn’t pressurise us in any way. She is really motivating.” While Renee opened up about how Sushmita is a motivating mother, she added, “I am so happy I can talk to her. Our relationship has changed now that we are in the same field.”
Meanwhile, Renee Sen also spoke about working with Sushmita Sen. She said, if given an opportunity, she would love to work with the actress and mentioned it excites her. Renee revealed she has spoken to Sushmita about it, many times, but is also aware that to reach where her mother is, it will take her a lot of time. On the work front, Sushmita Sen was last seen in the web series titled Aarya. Talking about her mother’s performance in the series, Renee Sen shared she was “spellbound” when she saw it. Renee revealed it would be love story or an action film if Sushmita and she work together.
