Promotions of Indian historical war film, Panipat is on full swing with the main lead Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, going city-hopping interacting with the paps. While they promote this heavyweight period film, the reel life Sadashiv Rao Bhau played by Arjun got a little goofy with his onscreen Parvati Bai played by Kriti Sanon. Grabbing a moment from their busy promotional spree, the two posed on Juhu beach, Mumbai, with Arjun going down on his knees, presented Candy Floss to his onscreen ladylove.
Sharing the picture on his Instagram handle, the actor captioned it as, “In this digital time of Candy Crush, we can all do with a bit of the outdoors & Candy Floss too... @kritisanon #panipatpromotions” We agree with Arjun, this candy floss definitely scores an extra point from us in the times of digital candy crush. It revived a lot of our childhood memories. Malaika are you watching what’s Arjun up to? With Arjun keeping it causal in a velvet black jacket and bottom, Kriti looked pretty in a white flowy number. Meanwhile, as Arjun Kapoor’s Peshwa portrayal on the screen gets compared to Ranveer Singh, Peshwa Bajirao’s portrayal in Bajirao Mastani, the actor spoke about Ranveer’s reaction to Panipat’s trailer. Arjun said, “He (Ranveer) got very excited seeing the trailer and I am happy about that. Look we are friends, apart from being actors. We are not constantly discussing acting and character development. We do films of the same genres as actors but eventually, the stories of these films are different. We have always interacted at a friendly level and never went into deep discussion."
The two have been thick friends and have also shared screen space in the movie Gunday co-starring Priyanka Chopra. Panipat is scheduled to release on December 6, 2019.
