In a major twist in Sushant Singh Rajput's death, after brother Showik Chakraborty, Narcotics Control Bureau arrested actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty in a drug probe linked to SSR’s death case. The drug-angle emerged when ED retrieved WhatsApp chats were Rhea’s phone. While Rhea first refused to procure any substance, it was only today when she said she used to procure, get drugs and consume them on Sushant’s behest. Apart from the Chakraborty brother-sister duo, SSR’s manager Samuel Miranda along with two drug peddlers were arrested by the NCB.

Now reacting to Rhea’s arrest, SSR’s sister Shweta Singh Kriti took to social media to share a picture of a news channel flashing ‘Rhea Chakraborty arrested.’ In the caption box, Shweta posted a hand-folded emoticon and wrote “#GodIsWithUs.” Commenting on her Insta post, Ankita wrote in excitement, “Diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii,” filled with heart-emojis. Rhea’s arrest procedure is under process.

SSR’s good friend Krissan Barretto tweeted, “My statement earlier and I quote myself “Satyamev Jayate right back at you” With sarcasm Chetan Bhagat tweeted, “Can India breathe now?,” “Celebrations tonight on some channels will be like we solved Corona, Economy and China in one go,” read his another tweet.

Reacting to the same, Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde told India Today, “Travesty of Justice. 3 Central Agencies hounding single Woman , just because she was in love with a Drug Addict who was suffering from Mental Health issues for several years under the care of 5 Leading Psychiatrists and then committed suicide.” While Bhiar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey told reporters, “#RheaChakraborty is totally exposed in the sense that she had a connection with drug peddlers. This has been established, that is why she has been arrested.”
