Rhea Chakraborty Granted BAIL: ‘Bengal Tigress Will Fight Back’ Says Lawyer Satish Maneshinde; Adds ‘Sushant Singh Rajput’s Family Looks Vindictive’
Yesterday, Rhea Chakraborty was granted bail by the Bombay High Court after spending nearly a month in Mumbai’s Byculla Jail. Now, Satish Maneshinde called her the ‘Bengal Tigress’, and said that Sushant Singh Rajput’s family looks vindictive as far as Rhea is concerned
Rhea Chakraborty had been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on September 9 in the drugs link connected to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, and had accused her of being ‘an active member of a drug syndicate’. After spending almost a month in Mumbai’s Byculla Jail, Rhea was granted bail by the Bombay High Court yesterday. However, her brother Showik Chakraborty’s bail was denied and he will stay in custody. Now, Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde has said that Rhea, ‘the Bengal tigress’ will fight back.
While speaking to NDTV, Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde said that she had become the subject of a hate campaign because she was Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend, but he said the ‘Bengal tigress will fight back. “She will fight all those idiots. The shameless people who destroyed her image are lining up outside my office for my interview,” he said. Satish Maneshinde said that he is grateful to the High Court and that the judge went through the entire material that was given to him. He claimed the judge found that the quantity of drugs involved was very less and that it wasn’t equivalent to the quantity that can be traded.
Speaking about certain sections of the media discussing his fees, Satish Maneshinde questioned how his fee was of any concern to them.

Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer further said that as far as Rhea is concerned, Sushant Singh Rajput’s family looks very vindictive. He claims Rhea was hounded as she was Sushant’s girlfriend. “She was the girlfriend of Sushant Singh Rajput, she was the live-in partner. She was almost like the housewife", he said.
