Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau on Tuesday in connection to the drugs angle in the actor Sushant Singh Rajput death case. Later, as Rhea Chakraborty was arrested after being interrogated by the NCB for three days in a row, news reports state that the actress named 15 Bollywood celebrities who consume and deal with illegal substances. In the video, the De De Pyaar De actress talks about how drugs need to be flushed out of the system.
On Twitter, an old video of Rakul Preet Singh talking about drugs surfaced. The throwback video dates back to Rakul Preet Singh’s 2017 interview with TV9 where she was quizzed about drugs being used as an attention-grabbing angle for headlines. Sharing her opinion on the same, the De De Pyaar De actress went on to mention how nobody will be supporting drugs and said that the investigation into drugs should be treated as a regular probe.
Moving on, in the video, Rakul Preet Singh spoke on how there isn’t a need to make headlines about the drug probe and mentioned that people need to learn something out of it. Later, Rakul added that it was necessary and much needed to get drugs flushed out of the system. Surprisingly, Rakul Preet Singh was appointed as the brand ambassador for Telangana state's 'No to Drugs’ campaign.

Meanwhile, apart from Rakul Preet Singh, Sara Ali Khan and Simone Khambatta also have been reportedly named by Rhea Chakraborty in her statement with the NCB. So far, in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty, SSR’s house manager Samuel Miranda, SSR’s housekeeper Dipesh Sawant and a few drug peddlers have been arrested by the NCB.
