Rhea Chakraborty's Bail Plea REJECTED; Actress To Remain In Custody Till October 6

Jalebi actress Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau on September 8. The actress was arrested by the NCB and remanded to judicial custody till September 22, in connection to the drugs angle in SSR case. It was recently reported by DNA that Rhea Chakraborty filed for bail, after 14 days in judicial custody. In the latest development in actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, Republic reported that Rhea Chakraborty’s bail plea is rejected by the court of law.
Reportedly, the bail plea of the Jalebi actress has been rejected by the court. After 14 days in judicial custody, Rhea filed for bail on Tuesday is now remanded to judicial custody till October 16. The bail plea of the actress was rejected by the special NDPS court, as per the reports.
ANI had reported that Rhea Chakraborty and brother Showik Chakraborty, who is also arrested by the NCB in connection to the drugs angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, had filed bail applications before the Bombay High Court. Reportedly, Satish Maneshinde, the lawyer of the Chakraborty siblings had mentioned that the details of the applications will be shared after the hearing.

Meanwhile, Rhea Chakraborty was arrested and remanded to judicial custody till September 22. After 14 days in judicial custody, the actress filed for bail today, on Tuesday. Rhea was arrested by the NCB after she was questioned by the Special Investigating Team (SIT) for three days in a row. In the connection to the drugs angle in actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, apart from Rhea and her brother Showik, SSR’s house manager Samuel Miranda, SSR’s housekeeper Dipesh Sawant, and drug peddlers have been arrested.
