With actress Rhea Chakraborty, one of the main accused in the actor Sushant Singh Rajput death case, on Sunday morning, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officials were seen arriving at her residence. After brother Showik Chakraborty’s arrest, it was reported that Rhea was summoned to the NCB office by the officials this morning. In the latest development in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, as per reports, his girlfriend has left her home for the NCB office. Another report states that Rhea’s lawyer said that she is being punished for loving SSR.
According to a report in the Republic, Rhea Chakraborty has left for the NCB office. The report states that the actress is enroute to the BCB office with 2-car Mumbai Police escort. In pictures reported by ANI, the actress was spotted leaving for the NCB office from her residence. Rhea is being summoned to the NCB office after her brother Showik was arrested recently in the drugs angle in the SSR death case.
On the other hand, Times Now reported that Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde said that the actress is being punished for loving SSR. While talking about Rhea being punished for loving the late actor, Chakraborty’s lawyer alleged that it’s a ‘witch hunt’ that’s going on. So far, Rhea Chakraborty is one of the main accused in the SSR death case. The whole narrative of SSR’s death case changed when his father KK Singh lodged an FIR against the actress and five others accusing them of abetment of suicide.

Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) shared WhatsApp conversations from Rhea Chakraborty’s phone in regards to the drugs angle with the CBI and NCB of the ‘use and dealing’ of drugs. On Friday, Rhea and house manager Samuel Miranda’s house was searched by NCB officials, after which Showik and Miranda were arrested. SSR’s housekeeper Dipesh Sawant is also arrested by the NCB.
