Rhea Chakraborty's Lawyer Says She Is A 'Law-Abiding Citizen'; Asks Everyone To Stop Speculating About Her Whereabouts

Rhea Chakraborty filed a plea in Supreme Court seeking a transfer of the FIR filed by Sushant Singh Rajput's father KK Singh against her in a police station in Patna. Yesterday, the Apex Court held its first session in this case. Justice Roy reportedly refused to give interim protection to Rhea Chakraborty and even demanded Mumbai Police to put on record all the investigation done so far. Meanwhile, CBI has accepted Bihar Government's request for a probe in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. Now, Rhea's lawyer has come forward and asked all to stop speculating about her whereabouts.
As reported by Republic, advocate Satish Maneshinde released a statement saying that his client Rhea Chakraborty is a law-abiding citizen and the matter is 'sub judice.' His statement reads, "The Bihar Government has already "transferred" the "Case" in which they have NO Jurisdiction to investigate. Once the case has left Bihar, Bihar Police have no concern in the case. The Solicitor General of India was present before the Supreme Court today on behalf of CBI and submitted that the Notification would be issued today. Till the matter is heard in the next week, the CBI being a premier agency is aware of its powers that need to be exercised in a Pending Matter before the Supreme Court. I would request all concerned to stop speculating about the whereabouts of Rhea Chakraborty. She’s a law-abiding citizen. The matter is sub judice."
A money laundering case has also been filed against Rhea Chakrabory by The Enforcement Directorate. Reportedly, she has been summoned by the ED and is likely to be interrogated on August 7.
