Rhea Chakraborty Says Sushant Singh Rajput Loved Her Brother; Says ‘Kabhi We Joked, Showik Mera Sautan Hai’

Since the investigation in late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case is in process, his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty is one of the main accused. The whole narrative of SSR’s case changed when Sushant’s father KK Singh lodged an FIR against Rhea and five others in Patna, accusing them of abetment of suicide. Now, in an interview, Rhea Chakraborty opens up about late Sushant Singh Rajput and brother Showik Chakraborty’s bond with each other. Rhea revealed SSR loved brother Showik and mentioned how they often joked about him being the late actor’s second wife.
According to a report in India Today, Rhea Chakraborty spoke about how Sushant Singh Rajput ‘loved’ her brother Showik Chakraborty. The actress also revealed that SSR and her brother Showik shared a great relationship with each other. Rhea said, "Showik and Sushant ke beech mein kaafi prem thaa. In fact, kabhi kabhi we joked ki Showik hi mera sautan hai.”
As Rhea Chakraborty recently shared details of her Europe trip, the actress went on to disclose why Showik accompanied Sushant and her to Italy. Talking about Showik joining SSR and her in Italy, the Jalebi actress said, “Italy ke Florence mein, my brother joined us on the trip. That too after Sushant insisted. Showik ke CAT ke exams thhe. He was also in two minds about the trip because he was thinking ki mere sister aur uske boyfriend ke saath main kyun jaaun.”
Meanwhile, Rhea Chakraborty mentioned that her brother Showik Chakraborty was in two minds about going to Italy with Sushant and her, but it was the late actor who insisted. On the other hand, Rhea Chakraborty also shared a few details about her Europe trip with SSR and opened up on the handling of finances of the trip. Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai residence on June 14. Currently, after the Supreme Court ordered CBI to investigate the case, the SIT is investigating every angle in SSR’s death case.
