Riddhima Kapoor Finally Reaches Mumbai To Be With Her Family After Father Rishi Kapoor’s Demise - PICS
It was last week that veteran actor Rishi Kapoor breathed his last after a two-year-long battle with cancer. Rishi Kapoor passed away after being admitted in a Mumbai-based hospital due to breathing problems. The entire Kapoor family, except for his daughter Riddhima Kapoor, was a part of Rishi’s funeral that had taken place on the same day. Though Riddhima couldn’t make it from Delhi to Mumbai because of the lockdown restrictions, Alia Bhatt made it a point to video call her during the funeral procession. However, Riddhima was soon granted with special permission to travel via road.

And after a considerably long journey, Riddhima Kapoor finally made it to the Maximum city last night. A few pictures show Riddhima Kapoor, along with her family, entering mother Neetu Kapoor’s residence and console her loved ones on such a huge loss. Riddhima Kapoor was very attached to her father and ever since his demise; she has been sharing a streak of their pictures on their Instagram to cherish all the good times spent with him. Riddhima had also penned a heartfelt note for her daddy dearest.

Her caption read, “Papa I love you I will always love you - RIP my strongest warrior I will miss you everyday I will miss your FaceTime calls everyday! I wish I could be there to say goodbye to you ! Until we meet again papa I love you - your Mushk forever.”

Riddhima Kapoor’s husband Bharath Sahni, too, remembered his father-in-law by sharing a heartwarming post. He wrote, “Will never forget the love you gave me. You taught me so much in the little time I had with you. Simply broken today. Lost for words. Love you and will miss you a lot. R.I.P. Papa.”
