Rishi Kapoor’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni couldn’t be a part of father’s last rites. Riddhima, who is married to industrialist Bharat Sahni, was stuck in Delhi, was trying to get permission to travel via air for the last rites of Rishi Kapoor amid Coronavirus lockdown. However, things didn’t work out and Riddhima was a part of the father’s funeral virtually. Soon after the pictures from Rishi Kapoor’s funeral went viral, we saw Alia Bhatt Face-Timing Riddhima Kapoor Sahni.
Now seems like Riddhima Kapoor was finally granted permission to travel by road. A while back, Riddhima shared a video on her social media account. Taking to her Insta story, Riddhima Kapoor shared an in-car video and captioned it, “Driving home ma. En route Mumbai.” Since last night, Riddhima has been sharing a number of pictures with her papa Rishi Kapoor. In one of the pics she uploaded just sometime back, an emotional daughter had written, “Miss you already, come back na papa.”
Sharing another picture with mom Neetu Singh and papa Rishi Kapoor from an event, Riddhima wrote, “Wish I could be there to say goodbye to you, papa.”
Yesterday, after hearing the sad demise of Rishi Kapoor, Riddhima shared a selfie with papa and wrote an emotional note alongside. “Papa I love you I will always love you - RIP my strongest warrior I will miss you every day I will miss your FaceTime calls every day! I wish I could be there to say goodbye to you ! Until we meet again papa I love you - your Mushk forever,” read the caption. Rishi Kapoor breathed his last yesterday at 8:45 AM and his funeral took place at Marine Lines’ Chandanwadi Crematorium at around 4 PM.
