There was a time when Sonali Bendre and Rishi Kapoor together were battling with cancer in New York where they were getting treated. As the veteran actor has passed away today in the morning, making everyone mourning over his death, Sonali who is completely heartbroken and at a loss for words too shared a heartfelt post for the same on her Instagram feed. While sharing a photo of the time when she visited Rishi Kapoor and wife Neetu Kapoor in New York along with her husband Goldie Behl, she also recalled the time when they both battled with cancer together.
She mentioned on her caption that they used to keep each other buoyant through the sadness and pain while holding each other up through it all. Her long caption read, “Heartbroken and at a loss for words... #RIP Chintu uncle. So many thoughts and emotions running through me right now. Remembering our time in New York as we battled together, fighting an unseen monster. Keeping each other bouyant through the sadness and pain. We held each other up through it all, forever connected.”
She also sends her love and prayers to his family, “My thoughts, prayers and love go out to Neetu aunty, Riddhima, Ranbir, the family and your legions of fans.
