At present, the gossip mills are abuzz with the reports of Rishi Kapoor being rushed to a hospital in Delhi. Reportedly, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, who had to skip Armaan Jain’s mehendi ceremony, too, are by his side. While there hasn’t been any official confirmation on the same, the veteran actor is rather posting updates on life and the recently-announced Annual Budget 2020. In his tweet, Rishi stated wondering about how does Nirmala, the housewife, deals with basic expenses whilst she prepares the Indian budget and talks about trillions of rupees. “Just had a thought. Respected Union finance Madame Nirmala Sitharaman whist preparing the Indian annual budget must talk a trillion rupees there a trillion rupees here. Billion would be small denominator. (Continued),” he added, “How does she as housewife deal with local vendors  or dudhwala at the door. Does she haggle. Aat Anna kam karo sava rupaya aur kam kar. Strange na? Meanwhile, we further await more updates on the veteran actor’s health. It was only last year that returned from NYC after undergoing year-long treatment for cancer.


On the work front, it was recently unveiled that Rishi Kapoor will be next seen in the official Hindi adaptation of Hollywood film, The Intern. It is also going to star Deepika Padukone and is aiming for a 2021 release. Sharing his excitement about the same, Rishi had said, “THE INTERN is a very relevant film for the present-day Indian workplace milieu and it showcases human relationships beautifully. I am very excited to be working with Deepika and being a part of this heart-warming story. It is great that Warner Bros. and AZURE are officially making this film in India."
