Rishi Kapoor’s health has been a matter of concern for the last few days which got all his fans worried. The veteran actor was first admitted to Delhi and it was reported that due to Delhi pollution, his health got affected. However, after a day of admission, the actor released a statement to PTI where he asked his fans to relax, adding that the cause of his hospitalisation is ‘nothing dramatic’. Further, he revealed getting an infection due to pollution. After getting discharged from Delhi hospital and his return to the city, Rishi Kapoor even shared a tweet on the same on his Twitter handle, giving us a brief update on his health while thanking his fans for all concerns and prayers.
Only yesterday, SpotboyE.com reported that post Armaan Jain’s wedding reception, the actor fell ill again and had to be admitted to Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital in Girgaon, Mumbai. Currently, his wife Neetu and son Ranbir Kapoor are by his side at the hospital. The cause is yet to be ascertained. Sources say that his immunity has become very low. Giving you another update on his health, we have learnt that the cause of admission was due to viral fever and there’s no health scare, claims a report in Mumbai Mirror. A source was quoted saying to the tabloid, “There is no health scare. Rishi ji has just been shifted from a Delhi-based medical facility to one in South Mumbai. It is just a viral fever, nothing to be worried about.”
His tweet read, “Dear family, friends, foes and followers. I have been overwhelmed by all your concern about my health. Thank you. I have been filming in Delhi past 18 days and because of the Pollution and my low count of neutrophils, I caught an infection whereby I had to be hospitalized."
In another tweet, he wrote, "I was running a slight fever and on investigation, Dr.s found a patch which could have lead to pneumonia, was detected and is being cured. People seem to have assumed a lot different. I put to rest all those stories and look forward to entertain and love you. I am now in Mumbai.”
