Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor’s demise just one day after Irrfan Khan’s death left the nation shocked. Rishi Kapoor had been battling cancer since 2018 and after a brave battle, he breathed his last on April 30 at a hospital in Mumbai. His well-wishers, fans, and friends from the industry mourned the loss and expressed their grief on social media. It must have been a great loss to his family, and now,  Rishi Kapoor’s brother Randhir Kapoor said that the family is trying to cope up with the huge loss.

While speaking with Hindustan Times, Randhir Kapoor said that the family is holding up well and that they are getting by one day at a time. He also shared that they miss Rishi Kapoor every day. “God has been kind and the family is holding up well. We are taking one day at a time but we all miss him every day. We shared a common bond over friends, family, food and films,” he said. He also thanked the fans who have been sending condolence messages.

“We have been flooded with condolence messages and some have even shared their memories or their personal experiences with my brother. It is impossible to reply to all of them but I’d like to thank everyone and just want to tell his fans to remember him for his movies, for his smile and undying spirit,” he said.
