Veteran actor, Rishi Kapoor, on Wednesday, celebrated his 67th birthday in the Big Apple, where he is residing, along with wife Neetu Kapoor, to undergo cancer treatment. On his special day, Rishi Kapoor was being flooded with wishes from across his family, friends and fans. Celebrities like Anil Kapoor, Suniel Shetty, Riteish Deshmukh, Anupam Kher and Rakesh Roshan among others poured in their good wishes for the actor. And all of them also expressed their wishes of Rishi Kapoor’s comeback to India.
Coming to Rishi Kapoor, the Bobby star, who is a known foodie, celebrated his birthday by having a family dinner at NYC’s one of the posh restaurants. However, things didn’t go as planned and Rishi Kapoor had quite a disaster experience. Taking to his Twitter account, Rishi Kapoor shared his feedback on the same. In fact, he was so disappointed that he wished to kick the owner’s ass. “Birthday dinner with Neetu at “Daniel” Bouluds flagship restaurant at 65th between Park and Mad.. Disappointed. In an interview with Times Now, Rishi Kapoor reencountered his experience of being diagnosed with cancer, “I was shooting in Delhi. My white blood cells were low and when it was diagnosed, I was asked to go to New York. So we came here and ever since then, we have been here,” adding about his recovery, Rishi said, “I had a marrow problem. I had to get it rectified. There was nothing serious as such. But you can’t fly long hours so I had to be here. I went through treatment and thankfully, it was successful.”
Meanwhile, it is being reported that Rishi Kapoor is expected to touchdown Mumbai by next week. Now, only time will tell as to how true are these reports!
