Rishi and Neetu Kapoor were the special guests at their son Ranbir Kapoors intimate bash yesterday. This was his parents first visit to his Carter Road apartment.
It was said that the actors parents were not happy that he left their familial home at Pali Hill, Bandra to live in with his girlfriend Katrina Kaif. However, the Bombay Velvet actor recently stated that it was his mothers idea that he should live with his girlfriend.
With their visit to Ranbir and Katrinas rented address, Neetu and Rishi have signalled that they have indeed accepted their sons choice.
However, it has to be noted that Rishi was not present at the family dinner that was recently held at a restaurant in Bandra. But he put in an appearance last night, when Katrina was away gracing the red carpet at Cannes.

“Rishi wanted to be photographed with his son outside the building but Ranbir shied away. Neetu didnt even pose for the cameras. Ranbir was happy that they came over. He even came to see his parents off,” says a source present at the bash.
