Rishi Thinks Government Snubbed Shammi Kapoor
The senior actor feels his uncles contribution to Indian cinema went unrecognised
It was a joyous weekend for the Kapoors as Shashi Kapoor was honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his outstanding contribution to the growth and development of Indian cinema.
However, Rishi Kapoor is miffed with the Government.
Reason? The senior actor is upset with the Government for not giving a similar honour to his other uncle, Shammi Kapoor. He took to Twitter to voice his opinion.
One can’t disagree that Shammi has entertained cinema-goers for years with his films. And clearly, Rishi is one of his biggest fans.
