Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani: Dharmendra Showers Praises On 'Darling' Ranveer Singh; Says, 'Mujhse Jab Bhi Milta Hai Bus Lipat Jaata Hai'

Dharmendra is all set to star in Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The movie also stars Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. In a recent interview, the veteran star opened up about his experience working on the project and said that he is enjoying being a part of the shoot. He also talked about his co-star Ranveer Singh and called him a 'versatile actor'.
Speaking to Bombay Times, Dharmendra said, "Ranveer is a darling. Mujhse jab bhi milta hai buss lipat jaata hai. He holds my hand and refuses to let go. I really like him. He is very sweet. I am happy that these young actors of today behave so normally minus all the starry airs. He is so good with his performance. I must say... he is a versatile actor."
When asked about reuniting with Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi, he said, "Jaya ji bohot dino baad set pe mili. We shared a lot of memories from our film Guddi. We have a blast on the sets. I open up and mix and mingle with my co-stars. Even Alia Bhatt is a wonderful person and a nice actor." Karan Johar had announced his upcoming film in July. He shared a video on Instagram and wrote in the caption, "Thrilled to get behind the lens with my favourite people in front of it. Presenting Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, headlined by none other than Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt and written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan & Sumit Roy. This anokhi kahani is coming to your screens in 2022!." In August, KJo shared a BTS video and announced that they have kick-started the first schedule of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
