Rohit Roy Has The Answer To Why Electricity Bills Are Abnormally High After Taapsee Pannu, Raj Kundra And Others Complain Of Inflated Power Bills
Recently a lot of people have been complaining and raising concerns over receiving exorbitantly high electricity bills as compared to other months, despite not as much usage. Not just common man, celebrities such as Taapsee Pannu, Neha Dhupia, Renuka Shahane, Pulkit Samrat, Huma Qureshi and Raj Kundra were also shocked to see the outrageous power bill and took to their social media handles to complain about the same. Now, Rohit Roy had an answer as to why the bills are abnormally high.

While Taapsee Pannu revealed she was charged 36k for the current month, Huma Qureshi revealed her bill came to 50,000 Rs, whereas last month she had paid 6,000 Rs. There have now been too many such complaints to ignore, and even Soha Ali Khan tweeted, “Are we just meant to accept these inflated electricity rates and pay them? @Adani_Elec_Mum we have received a bill that is three times our usual amount. Could you please explain?” Raj Kundra also wrote, “It’s crazy why is this happening to everyone? We have also received a 3 x bill shocked! @Adani_Elec_Mum@CMOMaharashtra #enquiry.”

Replying to Raj Kundra’s tweet, Rohit Roy wrote, “Guys because last 2 months they charged us only 50% of the bill ! So this month is a cumulative amount.”


Taapsee Pannu, in her tweets, had also mentioned that her 36k rupees monthly electricity bill was for an apartment where no one stays and it is only visited once a week for cleaning purposes. She then said that she was worried if someone was actually using the apartment without her knowledge, and that the insane amount of bill has helped her uncover the reality.
