Feels Like Ishq Actor Rohit Saraf narrates the story of the most heart-warming and the weirdest gesture he has received from his fans
Rohit Saraf has been receiving a lot of love and affection from his fans, which has exponentially grown in the last nine months since he was seen in two back-to-back successful projects—Anurag Basu’s Ludo and Mismatched. Recently, he was seen in Netflix’s new series on love, titled Feels Like Ishq, where he has been paired opposite Simran Jehani.
With the love that he has been receiving, Rohit must have got a lot of sweet gestures from his fans. Ask him about the sweetest one that he has received, and he shares, “I don’t think I can choose one, but some time ago, I was on this fans’ zoom call with about 100 odd people. There, some of them sang for me. Rohit insists that music has a special place in his heart. “I know in somebody else’s mind this might be a very small gesture, but for me music, singers and musicians really mean a lot. It really warms my heart to know that someone sang for me. I remember sitting there amongst hundreds of people plus my team, and I ended up getting so emotional and overwhelmed. I think that is one of the most beautiful feelings I have ever felt,” he smiles. But with so much love, there also comes a lot of extremities from the other side too. Mention that and ask Rohit for the weirdest gesture that he has received, and he responds, “I don’t necessarily know of any weird gestures, though I did feel weird about one thing at that time when it happened six years ago,” he says.
Elaborating further, Rohit shares, “Someone tattooed my initials on their ring finger, and I felt that it was extreme. I freaked out and ran away from there at that time but now when I think about it, I realise how sweet and what a huge commitment it was and I appreciate it. However, at that time I found it extremely weird and didn’t know how to deal with it but to just run away.”
