Rohit Shetty On Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi Clashing With Salman Khan’s Inshallah: ‘Let’s Concentrate On The Film For Now’
Rohit Shetty’s last release Simmba that starred Ranveer Singh in main role minted big money at the box-office. In the climax scene, the actor announced the entry of a new cop, ATS chief Veer Sooryavanshi, paving the way for his next cop flick titled Sooryavanshi.

Next, the makers announced the release date to be Eid 2020. Now, it’s a known fact that the festival of Eid has been synonymous with Salman Khan movies. So, when it was discovered that Akshay Kumar starrer will be clashing with Salman’s Inshallah, it created immense noise on social media. Everybody is waiting to see two big filmmakers of Bollywood, Rohit Shetty and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, battle it out at the box-office with their respective films.

So when, Shetty was asked about his film clashing with the Salman starrer, speaking to Bollywood Hungama, he said, “There is still a lot of time in that (release of the film). We are not even thinking about the clash. We have just started the shoot and are concentrating only on that. Nowadays everything is controversial. Even the controversies are losing their charm. Earlier people used to be worried, there are still some who do get worried but now a controversy is done and dusted in just 48 hours. So one should just sleep over it and after 48 hours people's focus will be on some other controversy.”

Sooryavanshi stars Katrina Kaif opposite Khiladi Kumar. The duo will be reuniting after 9 years. They were seen together in Farah Khan’s Tees Maar Khan in 2010. Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt joins Salman Khan for SLB’s Inshallah. This is the first time that the duo is pairing up for a film.
