Saif Ali Khan Opens Up About Not Being On Social Media, ‘I Tried Joining, But I Couldn’t Find An ID’

Social media is the most important platform for any artist to connect to his/her audience these days. And most actors and actresses are on these platforms and they even entertain their fans on via platforms. And now you might imagine who would not use this tool in this era. Right? And the answer is Saif Ali Khan. He is not on any social media platforms as he could not find his ID.
Saif Ali Khan recently appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show with Radhika Apte, Rohit Saraf and the entire cast to promote Vikram Vedha. On the show, Kapil Sharma asked him the reason his absence on social media like Instagram. He questioned, “I’ve not seen any account of yours, though there are many fake accounts under your name. Are you not social, or can you not get a user id?”
Responding to the question Saif gave a witty answer. He said that he could not find his ID. Also, so many Instagram handle already exist under ‘Saif Ali Khan’. He even feels there is a lot of tension being on social media. He quipped, “I tried joining, but I couldn’t find an ID. My name is Saif Ali Khan, and I tried joining, but there are already names under that handle…I feel there is a lot of tension and you’ve to lie a lot. I do lie. But you can get stuck on social media, whether you have to praise this person or that one, I am happy as I am.”
On the work front, the Royal Khan has impressed audiences with his action chops in some of his latest works like playing a cop in Sacred Games or a politician in Tandav and a brutal villain in Tanhaji. The 52-year-old actor was last seen in Vikram Vedha playing a cop alongside Hrithik Roshan. He will next be seen portraying Lankesh (Ravana) in Adipurush starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Sunny Singh.
