While the country has been facing a lot of trouble during these crucial times, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s son Taimur Ali Khan’s potty video from a primetime news show of a leading news channel made it's way to the Internet. During the video, as the host of show requested Saif if Taimur would wave to the viewers watching to brighten up smiles, the Tanhaji actor mentioned the little munchkin was having his potty time. After the video was slammed by many now, in an interview, Saif opens up about Taimur’s potty video and shares the positive story behind it.

Talking to Anupama Chopra from Film Companion, reacting to Taimur’s Primetime News debut and the potty video, the actor mentioned how it was all in good faith.  During the interview, when asked if it doesn’t blow his mind how everyone is obsessing about his son in the middle of a global crisis, Saif explained that he did genuinely go looking for Tim and would normally bring him into an interview normally but due to the given circumstances, he did so. The actor spoke about how everyone would look up into a bit of cheering up after Tim appeared on TV and added, “People seem to be happy when they see him.

Speaking of the objective of the news show host requesting Saif if Taimur would least wave, the actor mentioned how she thought she was just looking for a happy face. Khan added, “I did genuinely go looking for him and he was in the loo otherwise I would have brought him on, just to you know give a kiss to the audience and say hang in there guys vibe, something that we wouldn’t normally do.” Sharing his opinion finally after the channel was slammed earlier, the Laal Kaptaan actor said, “It wasn’t something that I found intrusive,” and spoke about how it was all related to the situation. The actor also said that given the circumstances currently in the country, it was all fine to him.


Meanwhile, talking about Taimur further, Saif Ali Khan mentioned how the little munchkin is at a perfect age where he is just happy to see both his parents around at home.
