Veteran actor Dilip Kumar is quite active on Twitter, and often shares his thoughts on the social media platform. A few days ago, he posted a lovely picture of him with his wife Saira Banu, and it went instantly viral! In a recent interview, Saira Banu revealed that Dilip Kumar is not too well, and has low immunity. Saira Banu has been by his side and she said that she does it out of love, and not to earn praises.
Saira Banu, while giving an update about Dilip Kumar’s health, told Times Of India, “He’s not too well. He’s weak. At times, he walks into the hall and back to his room. His immunity is low. Pray for his welfare. We are grateful to God for each day.” Speaking about taking care of him, she said that she isn’t looking for praises, neither does she do it to be called a ‘devoted wife. “It is out of love and not duress that I look after Dilip saab. I am not looking for praises to be called a devoted wife. Just to touch him and cuddle him is the world’s best thing that’s happening to me. I adore him and he is my breath itself,” she said.
Dilip Kumar lost his two brothers Aslam Khan and Ehsan Khan after they succumbed to COVID-19. Saira Banu shared a message on Twitter, saying that October 11 was her and Dilip Kumar’s wedding anniversary, but they weren’t celebrating this year due to the deaths in the family.
Meanwhile, it was in March that Dilip Kumar informed fans that he was under complete isolation and quarantine amid the Coronavirus pandemic. He wrote that his wife Saira Banu left nothing to chance, and to ensure that he doesn’t contract any infection, he has been isolating.
