Hollywood and Bollywood has standstill in the wake of Coronavirus, which broke in Wuhan, China and has been traveling to different parts of the world ever since. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in India has risen to 76. To keep their citizens safe, the government of India has banned Indian citizens and Ministers from traveling abroad. With lakhs of people contracting the virus worldwide, people have been canceling their international holiday and work trips.
As COVID-19 has spread across the world, Bollywood actors Hrithik Roshan and Salman Khan too have canceled their upcoming international trips. As per online reports, the Super 30 actor was all set for his 9-day tour to meet and greet his American fans in cities like Chicago, New Jersey, Dallas, San Jose, Washington, and Atlanta. The tour was supposed to begin from April 10.
A source close to the development told Mumbai Mirror, “Hrithik and the organisers will figure out new dates once the global health scenario is stable. The tour stands postponed as of now.”
On the other side, Salman Khan’s tour to the US and Canada stands to postpone. Salman’s manager revealed to Mirror, “It is not advisable to travel right now. We will announce fresh dates once the scare subsides.” Dabangg actor was expected to meet his fans in Atlanta, New Jersey, Detroit, Boston, Toronto, Dallas, Houston, San Jose and Seattle
Following the Coronavirus scare, the Sooryavanshi team has also postponed the release of their film. WHO has declared the COIVD-19 pandemic. According to the Health Ministry, 74 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in India. One death was recorded last night in Karnataka.
