after Sonam Kapoor and Salman Khan’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, writer and director
Sooraj Barjatya has decided to reunite with his Prem for another family drama.
While their films like Maine Pyaar Kiya (1989) Hum Aapke Hain Koun...!(1994),
Hum Saath Saath Hain (1999) continue to rule our hearts and TV sets, Sooraj has
made the announcement of him teaming-up with Salman once again.
While speaking to Mid-day, Sooraj revealed that currently he’s more focused on his son, Avnish’s debut but the film with Salman is surely in pipeline. He said, “I have discussed the primary idea with Salman. It's going to be a family drama, and not an action film. All I can say is that it will have all the necessary ingredients that a Rajshri production has — emotions, drama and a lot of music. It is going to be my most satisfying film. But right now, I am concentrating on my younger son Avnish's career; he will make his directorial debut soon."
Further,
throwing some light on the good news of him reuniting with Khan he said, “I am
going to put pen to paper after March, and hopefully, we should roll by next
year." Not only this, Sooraj has spoken about Salman Khan’s assurance to
him, “Whenever I am ready with the script, Salman has assured me that he will
be ready too." Meanwhile, reports are also abuzz that Salman may return as
his most favourite character, Prem, yet again, in Sooraj’s presentation.
