AR Rahman has been awarded multiple accolades, including an Oscar. He has composed music for several Bollywood films including Salman Khan’s Yuvraaj. Now, an old video of the superstar poking fun at the composer has gone viral on social media and fans have been wooing the iconic musician for his sassy reply to Salman's remarks.

A Reddit user shared an old video of Salman Khan poking fun at AR Rahman and the composer gave a savage reply in return afterwards. The video starts with Salman calling AR Rahman an “average” artist, only to ask quickly, “humare liye kab kaam karoge (when will you work for us)?”  

Later during a media interaction, AR Rahman was seen giving a witty reply as he quipped, “He (Salman) will have to do the kind of films I like, only then I’ll work with him.” 
Netizens took a moment to process AR Rahman's witty remark and many stormed the comment section to share their reactions. One of the comments read, “AR Rehman don't like Salman Khan - body language tells us all. Salman tried to shake ARR's hands after calling him average but ARR kept his hands in his pocket so Salman forcibly took ARR's hands out from his pocket ARR didn't like Salman calling him "average" when he literally won an Oscar award.” Another wrote, “Rahman literally gave music Salman's Yuvraaj. They've already worked together.”  Another comment read, “If ARR is average then Salman is shit.” 

For those unaware, AR Rahman composed music for Salman Khan-starrer Yuvraaj including Tu Meri Dost Hai, Tu Muskura, Dil Ka Rishta, and more. Helmed by Subhash Ghai, the movie also starred Katrina Kaif, Anil Kapoor, Zayed Khan, Mithun Chakraborty, and many more. 

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Salman Khan is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie Tiger 3. The film also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi and is helmed by Maneesh Sharma. 

The spy thriller will also see Shah Rukh Khan’s action-packed cameo which is scheduled to release in theatres on November 1.
