Salman Khan On Prep For Battle Of Galwan: "Aisa Na Ho Ke Action Karte Karte Behosh Ho Jao"

Salman Khan is all set to star in Apoorva Lakhia’s upcoming directorial, Battle Of Galwan, where he will portray the role of an Army officer. The superstar has already begun prepping for the challenging character and recently opened up about the physical intensity involved in getting ready for the role.

In a candid interview with PTI, Salman shared that the preparation has been especially tough. “It is physically demanding. Every year, every month, every day, every hour, it gets more and more difficult. But, you have to give it a lot more time now. Pehle ek do hafte mein ho jata tha, abhi thoda sa zyada time lagta hai. But, I have been working out, kicking, punching, and all that stuff. Iss film mein woh sab karne ki zarurat hai. Like Sikandar, the action was different. But, here it is a lot more physical.”

He further spoke about the challenges of shooting in tough terrains. “Shooting in Ladakh, high altitude, aisa na ho ke action karte karte behosh ho jao. So, for that, training is very important. Sign karte waqt aisa laga ‘it is amazing,’ but it is a very difficult film to do because from 20 days in Ladakh, 7-8 days will be in the water, thanda thanda paani,” he added with a smile.

The actor also confirmed that the shoot for Battle Of Galwan will begin later this month. When asked about the film’s release, Salman didn’t confirm a date but hinted it may not arrive on Eid 2026. “Eid pe kisi aur picture ko le aayenge, aur phir Diwali pe bhi leke aayenge,” he said, possibly teasing multiple releases in 2026.

The film also features Chitrangada Singh in the lead opposite Salman.
