Mumbai crime branch has arrested a sixth accused in the firing at Salman Khan’s Bandra residence case

Bollywood actor and filmmaker Salman Khan’s admirers have been awaiting further updates on the firing case. As the investigation of the case is ongoing, it has now taken a new turn. The Mumbai crime branch recently arrested one more member of Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang involved in the firing case. According to a report by NDTV, the accused, Harpal Singh, aged 34, was arrested from his hometown Fatehabad, Haryana on Monday evening.
NDTV further reports that SIngh was brought to Mumbai in the early hours of Tuesday. He will be presented before the MCOCA court later in the day. It is to be noted that this is the sixth arrest in the firing case. For the unversed, five rounds of bullets were fired at Salman Khan’s Bandra residence, Galaxy Apartment on April 14 at 5 am by shooters Sagar Pal (21) and Vicky Gupta (24). The media publication goes on to state that Harpal Singh’s name had surfaced during the interrogation of the accused Mohammed Rafique Chowdhary. As per the report, the former had asked the latter to conduct a recce around the 58-year-old actor’s residence. He had also given him Rs 2-3 lakhs. Further details on the matter are awaited. It was earlier reported by multiple media outlets that gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's brother Anmol Bishnoi, has taken responsibility for the shooting that happened outside Salman Khan’s apartment. He made the shocking revelation through a social media post on Facebook.
On the work front, Salman Khan will be next seen in AR Murugadoss’ upcoming action flick Sikander alongside Rashmika Mandanna. He also has Vishu Vardhan and Karan Johar’s The Bull in the pipeline. If reports are to be believed he will be collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan, for YRF’s spy thriller Pathaan vs Tiger.
