Salman Khan along with his family, friends, acquaintances, and fans are still reeling from the shooting incident that took place on April 14. For those who don’t remember, five rounds of bullets were shot at the Bollywood actor’s residence in Bandra, Galaxy Apartments, on Sunday morning at 5 am. Allegedly from Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang, the shooters Sagar Pal (21) and Vicky Gupta (24) were arrested by the police. Recently, Anuj Thapan (32) was also sent to police custody for allegedly providing weapons to the shooters. Well according to a new development, Thapan died while attempting suicide.

As reported by the India TV News, Thapan was found hanging with a sheet while in police custody. Assigned him for the night, he tragically took his life with the object that was supposed to comfort him. It was during the morning routine check that the police discovered that Anuj was unconscious in his barrack. He was immediately rushed to the GT hospital for emergency treatment. Late in April, it was heavily reported that Thapan and Sonu Kumar Chander Bishnoi (37) were sent to judicial custody for providing weapons to Gupta and Pal. The Mumbai police had invoked stringent provisions of the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) against the alleged accused. It is to be noted, that three cases were lodged against Thapan including attempted murder and extortion. His attempted suicide is currently under investigation. As per the recent report by NDTV, former Maharashtra senior police officer PK Jain has expressed that all the policemen at the police station will be questioned by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). More information on the same is awaited.

On the work front, Salman Khan will be next seen in AR Murugadoss’ upcoming action flick. He also has Vishu Vardhan and Karan Johar’s The Bull in the pipeline. If reports are to be believed he will be collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan, for YRF’s spy thriller Pathaan vs Tiger.
