Iulia Vantur often makes headlines for her rumoured relationship with actor Salman Khan. The two are said to share a great bond of friendship and are often spotted together, be it starry B-Town parties or actors’ family functions. In a recent interview, Iulia has opened up about stepping out of Salman’s shadow now in order to create her own identity. She stated that everyone wants to be respected for their own work, not who they are associated with.
In an interview with Etimes TV, Iulia mentioned that it is an honour and blessing to work with the Sultan actor. But at the moment, she wanted to work on creating her own identity, especially because people don’t know her so well in India and she thinks it is important to do that now.
On being asked how easy or difficult it is for her to step out of Salman’s shadow, Iulia said, “You have to put in the extra effort. Of course, it comes with advantages and disadvantages. The visibility is there, and it helps a lot. And as I said, his input, his experience helps a lot, but in the end, you have to put extra, extra effort to make a mark of your own for people to know you for your work and as Iulia, and not as someone who is associated with another person.
