Salman's Dwarf Role Goes To SRK
After the success of Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Aanand L Rai has become one of the hottest directors in Bollywood.

We told you that he is planning a love story with Ranveer Singh (Ranveer in Aanand L Rai's romance drama, July 2).

There was also buzz that the director was working on a film with none other than Salman Khan. What's more, Salman was to play the challenging role of a dwarf in the film.

However, Salman did not end up being a part of the project. It seems he was unhappy that details of his role were leaked as he wanted it to be a super hush, hush thing.

Now that Salman has refused the role, Aanand has gone to another Khan. And which Khan is this?

Salman's friend-turned-foe-turned-friend Shah Rukh Khan.

Yep, Aanand has now taken the film to SRK. If Shah Rukh agrees, this will be the first time he plays a dwarf.

Salman and Shah Rukh will already be clashing at the box-office next Eid with their respective releases, Sultan and Raees. And now this!

We wonder how this news will affect their relationship now. Will SRK take up Salman's sloppy seconds? Or will the challenging role with a talented director attract him?

Aanand has already expressed a desire to work with Shah Rukh. He had told a section of the media, "I do wish to make a romantic film with Shah Rukh Khan, he is the best man in this space. If I have anything exciting and feel he will like it, I will surely approach him."

The only tiny glitch could be Eros International who Aanand has an exclusive contract with.

You see, Shah Rukh does not have a very good relationship with the studio. It all began with Ra. One. Each of them played the blame game over the failure of the film.

It only got worse when Eros' Son Of Sardaar and Shah Rukh's Jab Tak Hai Jaan clashed at the box-office in November 2012.

Now it remains to be seen if Shah Rukh will look past these differences and take on the role of a dwarf.
