Salman Khan has decided not to promote his next release Bajrangi Bhaijaan and his next production Hero, which marks the debut of Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty. That comes as a shocking piece of news but he has his own reason.
The actor has decided to avoid the media for some time. He is sure that if he promotes the two movies, he will be invariably asked by the media about his court hearings and the sentence suspension. And that’s one situation he wants to avoid.
Suniel Shetty and Zarina Wahab had both visited Salman last week after the court verdict. Since they have entrusted him with the responsibility of launching their kids, we believe Salman has kept them in the loop.
Even Bajrangi Bhaijaan director Kabir Khan has been informed about Salmans stance regarding the movies promotions.
This comes as a strong decision from Salmans end, especially since both the movies in question are highly anticipated. Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which releases this July, is being viewed as Salmans annual Eid blockbuster and is eagerly awaited by his fans. Similarly, Hero, which releases on July 3, is of special importance to Salman. The actor has mentored Sooraj and Athiya, and has been involved in every stage of the film.
