If all goes as planned, Subhash Ghai will be wielding the megaphone once again in 2016. He’s working on a movie called Garjan, and no prizes for guessing who the hero is. Its none other than Salman Khan, who has principally agreed to work with the filmmaker whenever hes ready with his script. 

“The title is a working title, but I may just retain it because it goes well with Salmans personality,” beams Ghai, adding, He has already agreed to work with me, but we cant sign and seal documents till I dont have a script ready for him, which is just a formality between us. Hes a friend, and has always stood by me through thick and thin. I remember there were reports about how troubled I was working with him on Yuvraaj, but the truth is he was like an obedient child with me who listened to all I said. 


Garjan will be an action entertainer, a genre Salman is synonymous with. Its too early to say whether it's going to be a co-production with the actors banner or an independent Mukta Arts movie, but Ghai is sure his project is on track with Salman. Yes, Im aware he has plenty of assignments, but he also keeps his commitments with people he loves. So, I have nothing to worry, says the veteran filmmaker, adding, I just have to focus for the next six-seven months on a crackling script that can add a Rs 300 crore movie to my banner as well."
