Sanak: Neha Dhupia And Rukhmini Maitra Heap Praises Over The Hostage-drama Ahead Of Film’s Television Premiere!
Sanak is all set to make its television premiere on &Pictures on June 4, 2022 and fans can finally enjoy Vidyut’s hostage drama who missed watching it in theatres
The craze around Sanak doesn’t seem to be going down anytime soon and the film has easily managed to impress the fans ever since its release. The hostage drama stars Vidyut Jammwal, Bengali actress Rukmini Maitra, Neha Dhupia and Chandan Roy Sanyal among others.
Directed by Kanishk Varma, ‘Sanak’ was released on 15th October 2021 on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra, last year.
Now, the film is all set to make its television premiere and fans can finally enjoy Vidyut’s hostage drama who missed watching it in theatres. Neha Dhupia who plays the character of ACP Jayati Bhargav spoke about her character in the film and the challenges she faced during the shoot. She also spoke about the film’s premiere and shared ‘what makes it a must watch’.
Neha Dhupia said, “My track in the film was really interesting. It was a fun challenge to take as I was pregnant during the time and had to find a balance. Everyone on the set was incredibly supportive and understanding and it’s a team that I would look forward to work with again. Vidyut’s discipline and undying energy just became a part of our lives during the shoot, and I believe I have taken a bit of that back home as well.”
She continued, “Sanak is more than an action film as it has a great deal of interesting layers and that’s what makes it a must watch. Kanishk’s vision for the film was very clear and it has translated beautifully on the screen.”
On the other hand, Vidyut’s love angle Rukmini Maitra also spoke about the film and she couldn’t stop praising her co-star.
She said, “To me, my ‘Sanak’ is my passion. I always want to give my 200 per cent to anything I commit to in life. I have always loved watching Bollywood movies. So, to get a chance to star in one, that too opposite a flawless action star Vidyut, was more than humbling. He is a gem of a person, the one thing I was most excited about was the opening scene. Vidyut is always seen pinning people down and it is the first time a heroine was seen pinning him down. He trained me himself for the scene, which was intimidating but I also knew it had to be perfect.”
The movie marked the Bollywood debut of the gorgeous Rukmini Maitra, who enjoys huge popularity in the Bengali Film industry.
