Sanjay Dutt Tells Paparazzi ‘Prathana Karo’, Hugs Maanayata Dutt As He Leaves For Cancer Treatment At Kokilaben Hospital

The year keeps getting worse for Bollywood with a lot of bad news coming in on a regular basis. The most recent one was Sanjay Dutt’s diagnosis of lung cancer which came as a huge shocker for all his fans, family members and friends. The actor has reportedly been diagnosed with stage 4 of lung cancer and ever since, everyone has been pouring in wishes and support for Sanjay Dutt’s speedy recovery. Sanjay Dutt was recently captured coming out of his house while on the way to Kokilaben Hospital. He was seen with his wife Maanayata Dutt, sister Priya Dutt, and upon spotting the paparazzi, Sanjay Dutt urged them to pray for him.

Sanjay Dutt was clicked by the paps outside his residence, and as per ANI, he was leaving for Kokilaben hospital. The video which has surfaced on the Internet shows Sanjay Dutt in a blue kurta with his face mask on. As he spotted the paparazzi, Sanjay Dutt humbly folded his hands while greeting them. Having gotten emotional he urged all his supporters to pray for him by saying the words “prarthana karo .”He then hugged his wife Maanayata who was present with him and got back into the car.

While there were reports of Sanjay Dutt seeking permission to leave for US for his treatment, a report in Mumbai Mirror stated that Sanjay Dutt would begin with his chemotherapy sessions in Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital.


Sanjay Dutt’s close pal Paresh Ghelani wrote a heartfelt note for Sanjay Dutt after his lung cancer diagnosis. It read, “Brother: Thought we had covered the whole amusement park; thought it was closed now, but I guess we are not done yet. Let’s buckle up for another roller coaster ride!! Yet another battle has begun; battle we must and the battle you will conquer... We know the braveheart you are; you will win this. Sher hai tu sher!! Love you."
