Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film Baiju Bawra has been making headlines for multiple reasons. As many are already aware, Ranbir Kapoor, who made his debut in Bollywood with SLB's Saawariya, was first offered Baiju Bawra which he turned down. Post Ranbir Kapoor, it was reported that Kartik Aaryan might step in his shoes to do the film. The buzz started when he was recently spotted at Sanjay Leela Bhansali's office.
And now, as per latest report in ETimes, not Ranbir Kapoor or Kartik Aaryan, but it's Ranveer Singh who is doing the project. Yes, you read that right! Ranveer Singh has been finalised to do Baiju Bawra.
As per the report, "It's Ranveer Singh who has been finalised. An official announcement is in the offing, but yes, a few modalities yet remain to be worked. Probably post all that, Bhansali will declare. But as things stand today, it is Ranveer."
As many already know, Ranveer Singh and Sanjay Leela Bhansali have earlier worked together in three films- Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. Ranveer delivered phenomenal performances in all the movies. Up next, the actor has many interesting projects in the pipeline. He will be seen in '83, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Cirkus and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
Talking about Ranbir Kapoor, he also has interesting projects lined up in his kitty. The actor will be seen in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. The movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt and Mouni Roy. Besides that, Ranbir also has Shamshera and Luv Ranjan's untitled film. While Kartik Aaryan is currently making news for starting the shoot of Ekta Kapoor's Freddy.
