Sara Ali Khan Breaks Silence On Being TROLLED For Her Performance In Love Aaj Kal 2; Says, ‘Sometimes You Know You Deserve It’
Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan became one of the promising new-comers when she made her debut with Kedarnath in 2018. In the same year, she had gone on to star in Ranveer Singh starrer Simmba and fans started looking forward to her upcoming projects. However, it all came crashing down when her much-awaited projects Love Aaj Kal 2 alongside Kartik Aaryan and Coolie No. 1 starring Varun Dhawan turned out to be disasters at the box-office. She was brutally trolled by the netizens for her poor performances, the actress inevitably became a meme material.

During a recent interaction with Ranveer Allahbadia on his podcast The Ranveer Show, Sara opened up about how 2020 was overall one of the worst years. She went on to reveal that the trolling never affected her much as she herself was in a very bad mental state. The 27-year-old actress stressed on the fact that while she knew she deserved the trolling, she didn’t care what the internet was saying about her. She said, “Sometimes, when you know you deserve the trolling or when something is really bad, the fact that it is on the internet is so incidental and so trivial compared to the fact that it happened, that it doesn’t really matter. If you’re heartbroken, miserable, exhausted, scared, nervous, kya farak padta hai 20 log padh rahe hain, khud apne andar jwalamukhi ho raha hai, that it doesn’t matter.”

Addressing the failure of the Imtiaz Ali directorial, she said, “After Kedarnath and Simmba, I was put on a pedestal that I wasn’t sure I deserved. After Love Aaj Kal, I was dragged down brutally.” ALSO READ: An Old PIC Of Sara Ali Khan In 96 Kgs Posing With Her 'Abba' Saif Ali Khan Goes VIRAL; Netizens Are Shocked Over Her Major Body Transformation
